Quicksand is a super absorbent, safe, and effective way to deal with rinse cup and ink clean up. The ultimate tattooing liquids absorber - made from recycled materials!


Quicksand is proudly a 100% reclaimed super absorbent polymer, responsibly manufactured in Canada.


We’ve package our Quicksand “super absorbent polymer” in value-packed 2kg recycled boxes. In an ongoing effort to reduce our industry's usage of plastics, for every box of Quicksand, you effectively remove 10+ plastic bottles from entering our landfills.


With one box of Quicksand, you can dispose of up to 900 rinse cups. Simply add 2 grams (half a teaspoon) to your standard rinse cup and allow the powder to absorb the liquid. Add more powder for faster absorption. Quicksand can also be sprinkled over ink caps for clean trouble-free disposal.


One 2kg box equates to approximately 11 bottles of other solidifier brands. Use your vessel of choice for dispensing.

    • Needles and Cartridges (Kwadron, Cheyenne, etc.).

    • Numbing creams and topical anesthetics.

    • Liquids (Green Soap, Stencil Stuff, etc.).

    • "A Pound of Flesh" practice skins once removed from original wrapping.

    Eligible Returns 

    • Only unopened, unused, and factory-sealed equipment (e.g., power supplies, machines) may be returned within 14 days of purchase.

    • A 15% restocking fee may apply.

    • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

    Damaged or Defective Goods

    • If you receive a defective product, you must notify us at sphynxdistribution@gmail.com within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the defect and the packaging. We will prioritize a replacement via our personalized delivery service.

    Territory: We offer exclusive, personalized delivery for studios located in Joliette and surrounding areas.

    • Expansion: We are currently expanding our delivery routes toward the Quebec City region.

    • Schedule: Local deliveries are typically completed within 24 to 48 hours. Once your order is placed, we will contact you to coordinate a delivery window that suits your studio’s schedule.

    • Fees: Delivery is free for orders over 250$. A small flat fee of 15$ applies to smaller orders.
